The word "salvation" has many meanings in the Bible.  Its greatest use refers to making one a partaker of the spiritual salvation offered by Christ.

Salvation in this sense has a threefold use in the New Testament:  instantaneous, progressive, and ultimate.

Instantaneous salvation refers to redemption from sin (Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:10).

Progressive salvation refers to the Christian's growth in grace, knowledge, and service of and for Christ (II Peter 3:18 an Philippians 2:12).

Ultimate salvation is the final culmination of the redemptive process or the total benefits and blessings in heaven (Romans 13:11 and Hebrews 9:28).

Here at North River we encourage everyone to experience salvation instantaneously, progressively, and ultimately.  It is our desire to help you along this spiritual journey that begins with new birth and continues into eternity.  Our pastor would love the opportunity to explore this with you in a more personal way.  Feel free to send him an email This email address is being protected from spambots.
